International K9 workshops with the participation of the Bialystok SOK

The international exercises of service dogs intended for combat operations, organized in Bialystok, have ended. The police and military teams of Aras, YPT from Lithuania, Omega from Latvia, RAPID from Estonia, KSK, SEK Berlin from Germany, Eko Cobra from Austria, Lucko from Croatia, SPKP from all over Poland, which have fighting dogs, JWK Lubliniec, took part in them. KWP Gdansk, KWP Bialystok, KWP Kraków, CPKP „BOA” and the Railway Protection Guard together with the Prison Service.

The K9 workshops were organized by the Central Counter-Terrorist Unit of the Police „BOA” and the Independent Counter-Terrorist Unit of the Police from Bialystok. The exercises were carried out on urban and railway infrastructure facilities in Bialystok and the surrounding area. During the classes, simulations took place in conditions as close to real ones as possible. All exercises were carried out on the basis of scenarios prepared at various levels of difficulty.

International workshops for fighting dogs were aimed at preparing them for service in critical infrastructure facilities where it is not possible to use firearms. During the joint exercises, passenger cars stationed on a railway siding in Bialystok were also used. Officers and soldiers of all services and uniformed formations, both from Poland and abroad, also improved the defense skills of their service dogs. An important element of the workshops was the exchange of experiences.
